The prestigious Paris Opera Ballet arrives in New York for its first major engagement since 2012 with Red Carpet, a brand-new work from celebrated Olivier Award-winning choreographer Hofesh Shechter. This ensemble piece for 13 dancers features live music composed by Shechter as well as costumes created in partnership with Chanel. Praised for his visceral, intense, and electrifying movement, Shechter has been called "London's most vital choreographer" (Time Out London).

Synonymous with artistic excellence, Paris Opera Ballet has been at the forefront of dance since the 17th century. They are known for their vast repertoire of classical ballets and new works by today’s world-renowned choreographers. Members of this celebrated company have made recent appearances in both City Center’s Fall for Dance Festival and Balanchine Festival.
